Today, day one of the Toyota 54th Tamworth Country Music Festival, the 45th Toyota Star Maker, Felicity Kircher, releases her EP, Fair Weather, along with her third Star Maker single, Midnight, to Australian radio and streaming services.
The four-track EP was produced by Brandon Dodd at the Rabbit Hole Studio, in between touring with Kasey Chambers.
Felicity said that recording the Fair Weather EP was such a joy. “Hiding out at the Rabbit Hole Recording Studio with Brando and the guys and just getting lost in the songs was such an incredible gift,” Felicity said.
The four tracks include Fair Weather, Irish Blessing, Midnight and Stuck On Trying.
“All the songs were crafted into the lead up to recording, and I think they perfectly capture the year that was 2025, honesty, variety, vulnerability and self-discovery.
“Each song has a special memory attached – Fair Weather fell out while venting during a co-write with my good friend, Lottie McLeod. Irish Blessing was a random, but truly serendipitous one that I felt called to at the time, and I was fortunate to write Midnight with Brandon, Jenny Mitchell and her sister Nicola Mitchell in a humble motel room in Western Australia during Kasey’s tour, while I wrote Stuck On Trying on the floor of my parent’s bedroom, it was a song I needed to write to remind myself to keep going in life, and with the things I love. I’m so grateful to Star Maker for helping this EP come alive, and I’m excited to share it with you.”
Since winning, Felicity has performed at many of Australia’s biggest festivals including the Queensland Music Trail, in Charleville, Outback Qld; CMA Fest in Nashville performing on the CMA Spotlight Stage; Sounds Australia’s showcase events, Australia Sounds Like and The Aussie BBQ; and, for the Apple Music team. Felicity reached a major career milestone when she made her debut performance at the iconic Bluebird Café from an invitation by Star Maker judge, songwriter Phil Barton.
Felicity has performed at Sunset Bash in Penrith NSW and many popular Queensland events including Brisbane’s EKKA, Gympie Muster, Savannah In The Round, Groundwater and Strummingbird.
Felicity’s ticketed show will be held at Moonshiners Honky Tonk Bar on Tuesday, 20 January 2026 at 3pm-5pm, where she will officially launch her Star Maker EP, Fair Weather, and bring together some talented friends to help celebrate.
Felicity proudly rounds out her Star Maker year as a 2026 Golden Guitar Award Nominee for New Talent of the Year.
